"I brag about their customer service."
The North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce (NCMCOC) wanted to modernize the organization’s overall brand. They wanted new brand colors, fonts, and logos. Several other brands under the organization’s umbrella would also require a consistent brand evolution.
The Chamber website design needed to be simple, modern, and easy to manage. They wanted to move to a WordPress platform that would be easy to manage. It also required integration with chamber member software necessary for a chamber directory and other member communication tools.
First, the Chamber had a designated budget and timeline. Second, they also had several other projects that would need to happen over the next few months. Last, it was important to the Chamber to hire a local web design agency to do that job and continue to be a partner.
We sent off an RFP to every web designer in the North Central Massachusetts area. Ladybugz Interactive became a top choice. After the interview process, we chose them to work on our website. In order to preserve the same look and feel across all of our affiliates, we asked them to do other websites as well.
Our design team worked with the chamber to modernize the brand, logo and colors for the organization. These fonts and colors needed to consider the other organizations under the chambers umbrella and could not be too far off from the current colors. Our team was able to modernize current colors and fonts, and develop a logo the chamber loved. Our digital agency took home a Silver Davey Award for this work.
Our web design team modernized the chamber’s website with a new WordPress website customizing the Enfold Theme. The Enfold theme is easy to manage and we were able to train chamber marketing staff how to manage and update it quite easily. The site was built to be responsive on mobile devices and SEO friendly making it easy to find.
When you want to find a business or event in North Central Massachusetts, the chamber’s new website is the place to go.

The website’s design has a full page width feel and uses various tools to help make the site easier to navigate, such as, drop down menus, tab menus, toggle menus, content set out in full width bands, larger photo formats and easy to update and browse photo galleries.
The website also includes a blog where events and news from the chamber and its members are updated regularly. All membership tasks such as signing up for events, listing events, member directories and more are integrated through a membership software company.
Overall the chamber’s website has served them well and they’ve been really happy with the end result. It has made it easy to update, keep members up to date with events and news and integrated software to allow members to use it how they need.
