THE CHALLENGE

Elevated biotech website design needed to attract and engage investors

Actithera’s proprietary platform was founded in 2021 by Andreas Goutopoulos and was born from a deep expertise in small-molecule oral drug design and a bold vision. As the company and its RLT platform have grown and evolved since its founding, the Actithera team required a new and elevated presence. A new biotech website design that would reflect its bold vision and industry-changing innovation. They wanted visitors to leave their website feeling excited about their next-generation, proprietary platform and all that it could do for patients worldwide.

The goal was to create a website design that could attract investors, instill trust, and intrigue visitors, all while conveying the promise of their proprietary platform for cancer treatment.

THE SOLUTION

A bold + professional new biotech website design

The project started with a discovery meeting where goals and timelines were established. The biotech website redesign would include a full site visual refresh and elevation of imagery and colors. The vision was to build a website design that felt bold, clean, and exciting while also professionally communicating the benefits of their proprietary platform.

Large typography was incorporated onto the homepage for a clean and striking visual impact. This is a popular design element in the biotech space. Beautiful high-science imagery was paired with dark colors. This homepage intends to draw visitors in. This same visual approach was consistently applied throughout the entire website. The goal:  to create a cohesive experience that was both beautiful and easy to navigate. The visual contrast between dark and light, which is another popular and highly desired creative approach, created a nice balance that felt professional but also bold.

Together, the Actithera and Ladybugz teams achieved all of the goals set within their project timeline, and the Actithera team was pleased with their newly redesigned website.
