This one’s going right on our shelf! Our agency has been recognized by Agency Workplace as one of the Best Agencies to Work At in 2026.
This recognition is more than just an award for us. It is a clear reminder of our commitment to the people of our agency. We’ve been featured for our success as an agency while not following the outdated agency model and creating our own along the way.

About the Award
For many years, our agency has been recognized on various lists for web design, female-owned companies, SEO leaders, and other categories. However, this spot on Agency Workplace’s Best Agencies to Work At in 2026 is one we are very proud of.
Agency Workplaces is a culture recognition platform built specifically for agencies. They reward agencies that demonstrate exceptional workplace cultures, helping them earn trusted, credible recognition and use it to attract more talent in the space.
The Award Process
Ladybugz Interactive Agency was first nominated by being submitted as a recognized agency for the Agency Workplaces. Then our employees were sent an employee survey which was an anonymous, research-backed interview specifically crafted for our team members. The survey took about 20 minutes per person and the scores were calculated depending on favorability and engagement. It gathered honest feedback about the workplace culture.
Based on our team’s survey results, our agency was officially recognized for the Agency Workplaces Award. Alongside being recognized, our agency also received official badges, a public listing in the official Agency Workplaces Index (AWI), and a press-ready recognition pack that can be used to showcase the award.
Our 32-hour work week, team autonomy, and close-knit culture is what makes Ladybugz a great fit for this award and a platform like this really recognizes how special our agency is. The employee survey is powerful because it comes from the voices of our own team members, which gives this award its value.
People First. Always.
At the core of everything we do is a life-first philosophy: we believe people do their best work when they are happy at home and energized at work. Our team members have the flexibility to balance their lives with the choice of projects, work hours, and schedule. One thing at Ladybugz that sets us apart is that we operate on a 32-hour work week, and it’s one of the best processes we have at our agency.
Why? Because we believe that a well-rested and fulfilled team is a creative and high-performing one. Fewer hours doesn’t mean less productivity. It means smarter and more intentional work. And our results speak for themselves.
“I came up with this idea so that we could work shorter and more productive weeks, allowing moms to be moms and people having the life they work so hard for.”
— Lysa Miller, Ladybugz Founder & CEO
We trust our team members with this mindset, and that’s the Ladybugz standard. Trust and freedom aren’t the perks here at Ladybugz, they’re the foundation.
Our Process
With an agile mindset and transparent processes, we’re not just building great digital work and being recognized for it; we are developing the next generation of creative leaders. Being different takes courage, and we’re not afraid to share our journey and how we stand out in the digital landscape.
We continue to share our journey to building one of the fastest-growing, women-owned web design and digital marketing agencies in Massachusetts.
Our Amazing Clients (they are really the best!)
We’ve always known that the best client relationships are much more than just deadlines and completing a project. Recently, we were reminded how special those connections can really be. When one of our team members lost a loved one, one of our clients sent her flowers.
It was a small gesture, but it meant everything.
This gesture represents the kind of relationships we’ve built over the years. Our clients aren’t just our business partners. They are so much more than that. They are people that know our names, our stories, and genuinely care about us. And we feel the same about them.
This is what sets Ladybugz Interactive Agency apart from other Boston web design and digital marketing agencies. Not just from other small agencies, but from the large-scale digital firms that have grown to be more popular over the years.
At many of those agencies, clients become cookie-cutter ticket numbers. Work gets produced and done in a very systematic way, and delivered without much thought about the person on the other end. It’s efficient, for sure, but it’s not personal.
We’ve built something totally different. Every website we design and develop, and every digital marketing strategy we craft, is made with that specific client in mind. We go back to that very first meeting with them and remember their voice, their story, and their goals—and work from there. At Ladybugz, we don’t use a one-size-fits-all template. We mold, we adapt, and we grow with you.
You’re our digital growth partner. We celebrate your wins, support you through the hard moments, and show up as real people.
Because at the end of the day, great digital work and happy clients are born from great relationships. And we would choose it that way every time.
Lysa’s Vision Comes to Life
Before Ladybugz Interactive Agency became what it is today, our CEO & founder, Lysa Miller, reimagined what a Boston digital agency could look like. We haven’t looked back since.
We’ve been making moves, growing fast, thinking out of the box, and leading conversations around the future of digital agency life.
Not Just a Team but a Real Community
At Ladybugz, we work not just as a team, but a community—because genuine connection is important to us. Although a lot of our team members work remotely most of the time, we still meet in person at least once a month at our office in Hudson, Massachusetts, located at The Landing.
The Landing at Hudson Mills is home to many local businesses and is a historical mill that has been converted into flex mixed-use commercial real estate. It is home to Wild Hare and Good Earth Holistic Kitchen, where our team likes to grab a great lunch together.
Our team also likes to attend different community events throughout the year. In the past, we have hosted holiday parties at our office for the team, which is a great way to remind ourselves that we are more than just coworkers—but a community.

We’ve also partnered with local organizations for different events, such as MetroWest Women’s Network. In February 2026, Ladybugz Interactive Agency sponsored the MetroWest Women’s Network Galentine’s Wine and Cheese tasting in collaboration with Mullay’s Cheese, an artisan cheese and specialty food shop located in Hudson. This was a night of connection and networking for local women entrepreneurs at our cozy Hudson office.

Community involvement is very important to us at our agency. In 2026, our team became involved with the American Heart Association for American Heart Month. We joined our founder, Lysa Miller, in fundraising and supporting the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women: Women of Impact Campaign.
We promoted the campaign on social media, designed red t-shirts in support of the campaign, and attended the Go Red for Women Luncheon in Worcester, Massachusetts. We make space for fun moments like this to remind ourselves that we are not only a digital agency but a local organization making a difference. It was also a great team bonding experience, and we are looking forward to continuing participating in events like this in the future.

Challenging Work: The Kind We Actually Want
We’re always hungry for a new challenge. Whether it’s a new client or a new industry, we thrive on new problems to solve. But that doesn’t mean we aren’t intentional with who we work with. Not every potential client will be the right fit, and that’s okay. But when our agency takes on a new project, we are all in, and that level of investment only works when we aren’t afraid to be selective.
Not only does our agency operate on a 32-hour work week, but we have flexible contract job positions and a very inclusive environment for subcontractors that inspires them to continue their personal passions in the creative digital world.
“I’ve been a freelance writer for nearly 25 years and never have I felt so included in a company as with Ladybugz…”
— Michelle Eld, Content Production
How Two People, One Vision, and a Van Changed Everything
Every agency has an origin story, and ours is a fun one. Ladybugz Interactive Agency was born from the vision of our founder and CEO, Lysa, who set out to build a digital agency that does things differently.
Frank Pereira is our WordPress & Technical Support specialist and runs all of our support at our agency. Frank is an out-of-the-box thinker who is always innovating solutions to enhance system efficiencies and elevate the design and presentation of websites.
For years, Frank had a dream: to buy a van, hit the road, and travel across the country doing what he loves most. After years of building with hard work and determination alongside Lysa, that dream is no longer just a dream—it’s happening.
This is what Ladybugz has always been about: creating a place where great work and great lives aren’t mutually exclusive.

A Note from Us
Winning the Agency Workplaces Best Agencies to Work At in 2026 is something we will always be proud of, but what makes us prouder will always be the story and the people behind it.
It’s the team member who received flowers during the hardest moments of her life.
It’s Frank, living out his van life dream, traveling the country.
It’s Lysa, who took a risk and reimagined what a digital agency could look like—and never looked back.
And it is our team members at Ladybugz, who make it a community.
At Ladybugz Interactive, we’ve never believed that success and happiness are at opposing sides—they go together.
This award belongs to every person who has been a part of our journey: our team, our clients, our community, and our partners. Thank you for helping us build something that is truly worth celebrating.
